I&M Ingeniería y Mantención Ltda is an engineering company that provides services related to the mining industry.

Our main goal is to support the operational continuity of the production process, with emphasis on safety and care for the environment.

Our clients are the main companies in northern Chile such as SCM El Abra, Minera Franke, Zaldívar, AMSA, BHP – Cerro Colorado among others. We develop work in mine and plant within this companies, both in the wet and dry area.

I&M Engineering was born as an extension of the years of research and advisory activity in the academic field carried out by Raul Ibarra, Civil Metallurgist Engineer Ph.D. in Engineering, and today General Manager of I&M, who together with Metallurgical Engineer Vilma Magnata, founded this company.

I&M Engineering has carried out maintenance services and engineering consultancies in the extractive metallurgy area, in the deposit, as well as in the stages of the Hydrometallurgical Process and in each plant of its sub-processes. We create and develop technology-based innovation at the same time.
